U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Hilda Solis testified before both the House and Senate Appropriations Committees to discuss the Department's FY 2010 budget.

The $104.5 billion budget would provide $13.3 billion in discretionary funding; building upon the $4.8 billion discretionary and $33.5 billion in mandatory resources allocated to USDOL in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act).
