The Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board, Inc. (TRWIB) is one of the most progressive and proactive workforce development organizations in the United States. The former CEO was so successful in leading the TRWIB that he was recruited to lead the National Association of Workforce Boards - the association supporting and promoting WIBs nationally. We're seeking a senior level executive who has a demonstrated track record of working effectively across all sectors (government, corporate, labor, education, nonprofit) to develop and lead initiatives, success in diverse fund raising campaigns, and a passion for helping our region maintain its competitive edge with workforce development strategies. Additionally, the successful candidate must be action-oriented and a competent project manager, business developer, and leader and developer of staff.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The CEO is responsible for working with the Board to develop the vision for the organization, and manage and lead staff to implement the strategies and tactics to move closer to the desired vision. The CEO is also responsible for day to day operations and health of the TRWIB. The CEO is expected to demonstrate a high degree of independence with constant attention to the goals and mission of the Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board. The CEO is hired by and reports directly to the Executive Committee of TRWIB. The Executive Committee sets the CEO's remuneration and benefits, conducts an annual CEO evaluation, and defines the authority of the CEO.
