NASWA President Testifies Before House Committee On Veterans' Affairs

On Thursday, May 14, the Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs conducted a hearing on "Federal Contractor Compliance" in which Tom Whitaker, President, NASWA, testified on behalf of the states.

The hearing focused on federal contractors' hiring practices; particularly the role of the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) in protecting the employment rights of service disabled veterans and Vietnam War veterans.
