UI & A&F Committees Discuss EUC, Recovery Act With White House Committee on Ways and Means Staffer
At a joint meeting in San Diego, California this week, NASWA's Unemployment Insurance (UI) and Administration and Finance (A&F) Committees held a conference call with Nick Gwyn, Staff Director, Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, House Committee on Ways and Means, to discuss the Senate's version of the EUC bill (H.R. 3548) and extensions of the UI provisions in the Recovery Act set to expire at the end of 2009.   (11/10/09)

DOL Guidance on Workforce Provisions in Stimulus (TEN 30-08)
The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is issuing the attached Employment and Training Notice, which provides an overview of ETA’s implementation strategy for Workforce Investment Act and Wagner-Peyser funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
