2009 William J. Harris Equal Opportunity Award Nomination Nominations are now being accepted for this year’s award. States are encouraged to submit applications highlighting their efforts in the Civil Rights area. Applications must be electronically submitted to NASWA by May 22, 2009. (04/28/09) |

NASWA Award Nominations Due NASWA announces the Call for Nominations for its 2009 Awards: Eagle Award, SEAL Award, and the James F. Walls Award. Nominations are also open for two Committee-Sponsored Awards: Baumgardner Award and Sanders Award. The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, July 24, 2009. Each year, at the NASWA Annual Conference, the Board of Directors presents several national awards that have a long history of recognizing contributions to the success of the nation’s public system. NASWA encourages all State Workforce Agencies’ staff to consider submitting nominations for one or more of the categories. (06/11/09) |
