NASWA Requests $3.4 Billion For Workforce Programs This past week, NASWA submitted its annual appropriations testimony to Congress and the Obama Administration requesting an additional $3.4 billion in funding for the workforce system. The additional funding is needed to accommodate higher levels of unemployed workers and record numbers of workers being served by workforce programs. (08/10/09) |
