US Department of Labor Announces Nearly $55 Million in Green Jobs Training Grants
U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis today announced nearly $55 million in green jobs grants, as authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The grants will support job training and labor market information programs to help workers, many in underserved communities, find jobs in expanding green industries and related occupations.   (11/18/09)

U.S. Department of Labor Announces $500 Million for 5 Grant Solicitations to Train Workers for Green Jobs
During a visit to Memphis, Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis announced five grant competitions, totaling $500 million, to fund projects that prepare workers for green jobs in the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries.  (06/25/09)
