NASWA’s 2013 Winter Policy Forum in Washington, D.C. February 21-22, 2013 is being held with the World Association of Public Employment Services’ (WAPES) Conference on Long-Term Unemployment. WAPES is a membership association of administrators of workforce programs around the world. This is the first such partnership meeting in NASWA's 76-year history.

Social Jobs Partnership Launches Facebook Application Connecting Job Seekers with Jobs
The Social Jobs Partnership (SJP) launched a new Facebook application on Thursday, November 15, 2012, that will give job seekers access to over 1.7 million job openings from various sources including the National Labor Exchange (NLX). Nearly two-thirds of these job openings are provided by the National Labor Exchange. NASWA Testifies Before House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs on Veterans Employment and Training Programs

NASWA Releases Survey Results on UI Financing Systems
The National Association of State Workforce Agencies recently completed its third annual survey of states on the status of their unemployment insurance (UI) financing systems.
